Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn Heritage, Natural Heritage and the concepts on Natural Heritage and to recognize of Turkey's natural heritage resources and to understand of the importance of the these resources in terms of sustainable tourism development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the concept of natural heritage information.
2   Classify Turkey's natural heritage resources.
3   Become aware of Turkey's natural heritage resources.
4   Assess the natural heritage resources through tourism and plan it in Turkey.
5   Create awareness about the importance of using protection of natural heritages in terms of sustainable development.
6   Apply theoretical information in field studies.
