Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic questions in subdivisions of philosophy such as epistemology, logic, metaphysics, ethics and aesthetics and to teach them answers of these questions given by various philosophers.

1   Describe value and necessity of philosophy
2   Recognize subdivisions of philosophy and their basic questions
3   Explain main ideas of important philosophers
4   Use philosophical concepts correctly
5   Analyze different viewpoints toward a philosophical problem
