Course Objective

The objective of this course is to comprehend basic concepts and structural elements of art and aesthetics, to criticize a work of art and to come up with an aesthetic judgment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Meaning knowledge of basic concepts on art and aesthetic.
2   Being able to comprehend kinds of art.
3   Being able to understand relation between art education and education.
4   Being able to conceive development of art in the world and Turkey.
5   Being able to make a criticism on art object.
6   Being able to evaluate an art object.

11 Romantic period.
12 Modern art.
13 Deveopment of art in Turkey.
14 Museum and kinds of museum, museum education. Methods of beneficial from museum in education.
15 Final examination.
