Course Objective

The purpose of this course, is to help students comprehend fundamental movements which are specific to scientific research, paradigms and concepts, structure and process of scientific research; to develop students skills and critical perspectives related to the various aspects of scientific research through the research project.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows and explains the concepts, models and specific trends peculiar to scientific research
2   Knows and applies the structure and process of scientific research
3   Develops knowledge, skills and a critical perspective on various dimensions of scientific research
4   Develops a positive attitude towards scientific research and appreciates the importance of being an open-minded person.
5   Evaluates a scientific research report in terms of the positive and negative aspects.
