Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the issues, basic principles, approaches and methods of anthropology and to provide them develop different point of views toward cultural values.

1   Define basic issues, scopes, principles and approaches of anthropology 2   Outline the history of anthropology 3   Recognize subdisciplines in anthropology 4   Explain methods of anthropology 5   Explain theories related to biological and cultural evolutions of humans 6   Describe the concept of culture and its scope
