Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to get the social studies teacher candidates explain the political, cultural and civilization history of the Ottoman Empire from Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (Small Kaynarca) to the end of the Ottoman Empire (1922).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Reasons of the insert of the Ottoman Empire to the periods of the regression
2   The way of searching of the Ottoman Empire from the periods of the regression.
3   Effects on the Ottoman Empire which were occurred economical, political changes all over the World.
4   Effects of the French Revolution and Industrial Revolution on the Ottoman Empire.
5   Reform of effort which the Ottoman Empire apply for to exit from the periods of the regression.
6   Reasons of fall of the Ottoman Empire
