Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic English patterns used in socials studies and to provide them with the skills of text translation in beginner or elementary level.

1   Recognize basic English sentence structure
2   State main English concepts used in social sciences
3   List essential English words used in educational settings
4   Translate elementary level English texts with using dictionary
5   Identify Greek and Latin elements in English
