Course Objective

Enable the students to make analysis of media messages that reach via television, radio, print media, internet and so on, and also to obtain the ability of evaluation and transmission, to gain critical perspective on written, visual, auditory media.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the communication ways and recognizes the differences in the elements of them
2   Recognizes the tools of mass media.
3   Understands the evolution and the effects of media organs in the historical process.
4   Analyzes the effects of media on individuals and society.
5   Comrehends the importance of media literacy.
6   Acquires the necessary equipment in the lessons on the use of media and multimedia environments
