Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach how develop and model three dimensional computer animations and models and develop three dimensional educational content using 3DS Max

1   Explain 3D animation modeling logic using 3Ds Max
2   Learn functions and properties of menus at 3Ds Max Software
3   Model three dimensional realistic training material using 3Ds Max
4   Explain the differences between 3D modeling techniques.
5   Prepare three dimensional animation using 3Ds max

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Introduction to 3 D model and animation at education
2 softwares that are used for preparing 3 D models and animations, Basics of 3Ds Max software, showing properties of menus at 3Ds Max software, introducing and showing work areas of 3Ds Max software.
3 Basics of 3 D Modelling, explaining properties of the differences between 3D modeling techniques, working with sub-objects
4 Modeling with curves, working with sub-objects of 2 - D objects
5 Expand and collapse, use of loft command , softening the edges of the polygon
6 Modelling for graphics of motion, use some modifiers of 2 D objects
7 Technique of poly modeling, line of modeling, use of modifiers, use of organizers, the lower parts of the surface modeling
8 Midterm Exam
9 Poly model with line of modeling, Introduction Nurbs modeling, organize curve and surfaces, Basics and use of the material, the opacity setting, operational coating, using bitmaps,
10 Creating and setting the viewing angle of the camera
11 Basics of of lighting, stage lighting settings
12 The key frame animations, prepare the transition animation, creating repetitive animation.
13 Hierarchies, connect objects together, play in a hierarchy, animation optimization
14 To control animations, grasp checkers and use the panel to act
15 Final exam
