Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop the ability of the prospective teachers studying at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology regarding translating English texts that they can come across in their graduate studies and/or career. With this in mind they are asked to read and translate computer related texts using the computer jargon.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   .To be able to understand English while reading computer related texts
2   To be able to find the Turkish meanings of computer related vocabulary
3   To be able to translate from English to Turkish
4   To be able to translate field related texts from Turkish to English
