Course Objective

Give the ability to express himself in writing to and students feel the relationship between written expression and teaching profession.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Use in writing Turkish language correctly and effectively.
2   The right thinking in terms of relationship between language and thought.
3   To express thoughts and feelings in a particular order.
4   Knowing and application the rule of written language as spelling, punctuation.
5   To understand the difference between oral communication and written expression.

1 Definition and importance of language; language- culture relations, writing language and its characteristics;
2 External structure and rules in written expression
3 Definition and kinds of text and rules of writing text
4 Plan in writing theme
5 Writing paragraph; composition concept, rules and plans in writing a composition,
6 Different writing types ( memory, anecdote, story criticism, novel etc.), formal writings (auto biography, petition, report, announcement, bibliography, official writings, scientific writings, article et .)
