Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give how make and design computer animation and develop interactive educational content by using Flash

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain animation logic using Flash
2   Learn functions and properties of menus at Flash Software
3   Design interactive educational content using Flash
4   Explain differences between buttons, movie clip, and graphics.
5   Design educational software using multimedia

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Introduction to graphics and animation at education
2 Software that are used for preparing graphics and animations, Basics of Flash software, showing properties of menus at flash software, introducing and showing work area of flash software.
3 Showing concepts of Frame, keyframe, timeline, layer, explaining properties of timeline and some tools.
4 Making frame-frame and movie clip animation at flash software
5 Showing detailed animation properties.
6 Adding mask and shape tween at flash software
7 Adding motion guide to layers, learning layer properties. Introduce to the concept of button.
8 Mid term exam
9 Using movie clip, graphic and button objects together.
10 Using movie clip, graphic and button objects together.
11 basic ActionScript
12 basic ActionScript
13 basic ActionScript
14 Developing basic educational material using animation and ActionScript
15 Final
