Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the prospective teachers studying at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology regarding Constructivist principles and active learnıng strategıes and enable them develop applıcatıons usıng them. In addition, we intend to enable them use multiple intelligence theory when teaching computers and enable their students apply self-regulation strategies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to know how meaningful learning and organisers can be used
2   To be able to know the multiple intellence theory and its characteristics
3   To be able to integrate several methods of multiple intellence theory when teaching computers
4   To be able to know the constructivist principles used for teaching computers
5   To be able to apply active learning principles into teaching computers
