Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with poetry , lead them to enjoy the class and equip them with the suitable techniques and strategies

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to enable students to use poetry as a rich and diverse source to develop learning strategies
2   to equip them with necessary techniques to use poetry in language teaching
3   to enable them to select and use the suitable poems effectively in language teaching
4   to lead sts to be able to comprehend poetry can support the foreign language learning strategies (e.g.memorization)
5   to lead sts to understand poetry enchances their mother langue development as well as personal development
