Course Objective

This course aims to bring the students in basic units and notions about to analyse novels and short stories written in french , in advanced level, at the same time it aims that the students can know how to read a french novel or a french short story.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to read and understand short stories and tales in french
2   Being able to understand basic approaches which exist in literary criticism and being able to understand the differences between them
3   Being able to understand basic units and notions of the narratology
4   Being able to analyze in written and orally one of well-known short stories of the french literature according to basic units and notions of narratology
5   Being able able to develop a proposal about how to use short stories and tales as short-term texts from linguistic configuration of the narratology
6   Being able to apply reformed suggestions
