Course Objective

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the translation courses they are going to take during the following years with the double-sided translation studies done regularly in the classroom.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   being able to translate different types of articles at B1 level
2   getting awareness of the problems in written translation.
3   being able to come up with solutions to the problems in translation.
4   getting awareness of the qualities of their mother tongue.
5   improving Turkish and French vocabulary
