Course Objective

Presenting the students with cinema, especially with French cinema; improving their French by using fictional movies and documentaries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend the structure of the cinema language.
2   Being able to understand the discursive and cinematographic features used in fictional movies.
3   Being able to understand the discursive and cinematographic features used in documentaries.
4   Being able to understand the linguistic features used in movies.
5   Being able to comprehend the language and narration & signification and learning strategies.
6   Being able to learn the French culture with reference to French movies.
