Course Objective

To transfer to teacher candidates the framework of classical mythology texts in Western literature by elements of intertextuality.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend the intertextuality notion in literature
2   Being able to explain basic concepts of classical mythology
3   Being able to recognize the theme, story and characters of classical mythology
4   Being able to explain the traces of the theme, story and characters of classical mythology in literary texts
5   Being able to evaluate the influence of classical mythology in French literature
