Course Objective

The aim of this course is to look into major articles of important French authors within the framework of modern language-literature theories; to get to know French literature and the intellectual, social-cultural universe that has created and feeding this literature; to learn the approaches of French literature movements and their authors and the characteristics of the master pieces; to improve French vocabulary and grammar.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   learning the literature percept of the important figures in French literature and the prominent features of the important works.
2   learning to analyze a literary work.
3   comprehension of the relationship between the concepts of literature-intellectual, activity-artistic creativity-social and cultural values.
4   learning the details of literary French; improvement of French writing skills.
5   mastery of literary ways of expression of French.
