Course Objective

Feel the importance of children s literature in Turkish Education, knowledge of the close proximity between the area of children s literature with Turkish teachers, understanding the relationship between education science and children s literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows basic ideas related to children s literature. 2   Understand importance of children s literature in the Turkish education. 3   Recognize of type of children s literature. 4   Recognize the poets and writers in children s literature. 5   Actively take advantage of the knowledge of children s literature during teacher profession.
