Course Objective

Providing the students to reach a certain level and improving the musical skills of them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students play musical scales in A major,Fsharp minor,E flat major and C minor. 2   They can use saxophon articulation techniques correctly. 3   They can recognize the musical nuances.They practise on forte and piano. 4   They do duo practises. 5   They know all of notes and play all of them.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description 1 Practising the musical scales which were taught in first term. 2 Practising on articulation techniques and musical nuances. 3 Practising on articulation techiques and playing the etudes which are related to them. 4 Practising on breathing and musical nuances. 5 Playing the etudes which are related to breath and musical nuances. 6 Playing a piece for saxophon and piano. 7 Midterm exam 8 Practising on scales. 9 Breathing tecniques and teaching vibrato. 10 Teaching all of notes on the saxophon 11 Practising for brilliant tone. 12 Practising on an etude and playing a piece for saxophon and piano. 13 Breathing and musical nuance practises on etudes and pieces which were played. 14 Practising on breath. 15 Final Exam
