Course Objective

The objective is to give students a foundation in experimental techniques related to the content of physical chemistry course (Gases, Liquids, Colligative Properties, Phase Equilibria, Thermochemistry)

3 Determination of a Calorimetry constant and neutralization enthalpy
4 Determination of partial molar volumes
5 Determination of the temperature of the water solubility and solubility of benzoic acid
6 Determination of boiling point of water, overheating degree and confidential evaporation
7 Phenol-water system
8 Mid-term exam
9 Freezing point depression
10 Conductometric titration
11 Cell constants and determination of the equivalent conductivity
12 Determination of the degree of decomposition and dissociation constant of a weak acid
