Course Objective

The Turkish Law on which the decisive periods of switching, in which the systems of law are adopted, to learn from the past, legal institutions, law rules have knowledge about the past, in the legal systems, the applications of the social process and the present law, how it affects the see, the old and the new comparison between the communication.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to identify the basic concept and the agencies about the History of Turkish Law.
2   To be able to explain the effects of the adoption of Islam in the History of Turkish law.
3   To be able to distinguish the differences between customary law and religious law.
4   To be able to specify the rule of law institutions and rules outlined in the Ottoman Empire.
5   To be able to detect important developments in The Tanzimat Period of the Ottoman Empire.
6   Of foreign legal systems and applications able to be aware how they affect the social process.
7   To be able to compare the current legal system and legal system in the past.
