Course Objective

Law of foreigners formed by legal principles and rules which regulates foreigners rights and responsibilities in a country. The subject of this course rendered by the legal status of foreigners in Turkey. This course, the students will be informed particularly on these topics: right of labor, right to make an investment, right to buy immovable in Turkey and the limitations of these rights.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1	To specify the principles which have been proposed and used about the rights of foreigners
2	To express the provisions about foreigners law in Turkish legal system and the agreements which Turkey became party on.
3	To describe the relationship between Turkey and European Union countries by the terms of foreigners law
4	To identify foreigners rigths and freedoms as a person.
5	To determine foreigners social and economical rigths and freedoms and political rights.

4	General principles of Turkish law of foreigners
5	Foreigners rigths and freedoms as a person (foreigners right of entry to Turkey, right to have residence and right to travel in Turkey)
6	Foreigners rigths and freedoms as a person (press-right of association and right to have association membership)
7	Foreigners rigths and freedoms as a person (foreigners personal immunity)
8	Foreigners social and economical rigths and freedoms (foreigners right and freedom to labor)
9	Foreigners social and economical rigths and freedoms (foreigners social rights and freedoms-rights to have education and right to teach)
10	Foreigners social and economical rigths and freedoms (foreigners right to have ownership on movables-foreigners right to have ownership on intangible goods)
11	Foreigners social and economical rigths and freedoms (Foreigners right of inheritance in Turkey-foreigners with regard to the law of person and family law) and Politicial rigts of foreigners
