Course Objective

To provide first year students in gaining general knowledge of the reasons of Hadith as science; of its history, its sources, its methods and literatures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will gain ability to evaluate the thoughts of Orientalists regarding about hadith literature.
2   Will gain ability to truly use the hadith texts
3   Will understand the authority and importance of Prophet Muhammad
4   Will be aware of methods of hadith teaching and learning
5   Will learn the contribution of muhaddiths to other religious sciences
