Course Objective

To give information to students on religious literature by beginning from the pre-Islamic Turkish literature; to focus on the works created in this framework; and to acquaint with the important personalities who created these works.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will have a general information on literature adventure of Turkish people.
2   Will recognize the relation of Turkish people with religion and their activities on religious literature in particular.
3   Will learn the important men of letters, poets, and authors wrote in the subject of religion.
4   Will learn a considerable part of the works created on religious literature.
5   Will discover the Islamic motives in modern literary works.
