Course Objective

To learn examination formats of legal issues in Islamic schools of law and other legal systems comparatively

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To recognize the formation of Islamic law schools and their institutional structures during the historical period
2   To know the literature of Islamic law schools
3   To acquire information on the methodologies of the Islamic law schools
4   To explain the cultural, geographical, climatic and social causes leading to the differentiation of Islamic law schools
5   To explain the differences between Islamic law and the other legal systems like Roman law in terms of their perspectives on legal issues
