Course Objective

To make ethical theories and problems to be understood, that they have been shaped under the two guiding questions and their answers: what determines the aim of human life and how should the life be lived

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students will approache the fundemantals questions in ethics that related to our life.
2   They will learn the hypothesis and strugles of the theories in ethics in history.
3   They will be able to evaluate human behaviours in accordance to ethical criterias.
4   They will learn philosophical backgrounds of these theories.
5   They will understand and see the daily impacts of ethics and related subjects.

6 Islamic ethics, the ethics based on sources
7 Islamic ethics, theological ethics.
8 Mid-term Exam
9 Islamic ethics, philosophical ethics.
10 Ethical views of Spinoza.
11 Egoism
12 Utilitarian ethics
13 Ethics in Kant.
