Course Objective

To investigate relationships between religion and state in the European Union.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn different practices of laicism in the different states in Europea. 2   They will understand the legal status of religious institutions. 3   They will read on religious education in Europea. 4   They will apprehend the status of non-Christians in European states. 5   They will discuss impacts of secularism and laicism on the contemporary Europea.
