Course Objective

To determine how the followers of Shia sect understood Holy Quran,
to show to the students the methods of Quranic interpretation of Shia people,
to teach them the Quranic fundamentals of Shia sect.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They learn the Quranic references of Shia sect.
2   They observe the similarities and differences between the Sunni and Shia commentaries.
3   They learn the features of Shia commentaries.
4   They grasp the relations between Shia and Batiniyyah.
5   They obtain information about Shia tafsir schools.

2 Commentaries of Ikhlas, Falaq and Nas chapters.
3 Commentaries of verses of Al-i Imran/28; Maidah/6, Shura/23.
4 Some samples from the chapter of Taha.
5 Some samples from the chapter of Nur.
6 Some samples from the chapter of Abraham.
7 Some samples from the chapter of Saff.
8 Mid-term Exam
9 Some samples from the chapter of Taghabun.
10 Commentaries of verses about salat and zakat.
11 The commentary of Mudayana verse (Baqarah/282).
12 The commentary of Asr chapter.
13 The commentary of Nasr chapter.
14 Some samples from Moses parable (Hud/25-49).
