Course Objective

To recognize contemporary problems in Islamic law and opine about their solution

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To acknowledge the basic information about the contemporary problems in Islamic law, concepts and convictions for these problems
2   To comprehend the methods to be followed in solving the contemporary problems in Islamic law
3   To recognize the historical development of ijtihad as a contemporary theoretical problem in Islamic law and use it as a method of problem solving
4   To benefit from the sources of fiqh by analysing the rules of the theoretical and practical problems in the sources
5   To opine about the principles required for the establishment of regular and stable economic relations by recognising problems of economic life
