Course Objective

To enable students to read original texts of philosophers on different subjects such as onthology, epistemology, virtue and etc., in order to encourage them to develop philosophical knowledge.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn main thoughts of philosophers on ontology, epistemology and virtue by reading their own texts.
2   Will have an idea on methodologies that philosophers applied on their works.
3   Will see what techniques that philosophers conducted in their philosophies.
4   Will not discuss each movement or philosopher independently but make comparisons and contrasts between all.
5   Will also see the positive impacts of learning the history of philosophy for the education in theology.
