Course Objective

Students will learn the approach of classical tafseers to the controversial contemporary religious issues in terms of different schools, geography and periods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will meet the Qur'anic verses which have been source of the current issues.
2   Students will learn different perspectives on current issues.
3   Students will discover that some of the current issues have been discussed since early times.
4   Students will be able to see human factors in the expression of the current issues and comprehend the necessary of the approach of main resources to these issues.
5   Students will be able to produce new solutions to current contemporary religious issues.
