Course Objective

Both provide a general framework for economic integrations in the world and acquire the tools to enable economic analysis of the EU-Turkey relationship in the current dimensions

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to discuss current issues from the current issues and related literature
2   To be able to evaluate current available examples by analyzing economic and monetary integrations theoretically.
3   To be able to compare critically and different ideas
4   From the Monetary Union theory to be able to questioning whether European Monetary Union is an Optimum Currency Area or not
5   To be able to explain relationship of the existing economic and monetary unions with Turkey and their effects on the Turkish economy
6   To be able to analyzing the historical development of Turkey-EU relationship and negotiation process
