Course Objective |
Within the scope of the course, it is aimed to evaluate region, regional development and dynamics of urban and rural development as well as social development theoretically and specially within the locality and to be informed about the applications of the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS), Regional Development Agencies considered important within development models, the concept of cross-border cooperation and cross-border cooperation projects. Evaluating the location of Turkey within the framework of regional development dynamics, defining the future sustainable and livable cities by developing applicable models at local and national levels and monitoring international developments with the information to be acquired within the above-mentioned scope are regarded as the primary purposes. |
