Course Objective

Examining the socio-economic and political structures of cities;being informed about the birth and development processes of cities; and making it possible to analyze urban dynamics under daily conditions also considering the past.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define Urbans' economical, social and spatial experiences.
2   Being able to analyze the reasons which are form urban as structure of capital and capability accumulation.
3   Being able to discuss the effects during urban policies and development of capital cities.
4   Being able to determine structure of kervan and coastal towns and multiculturel urban poltics and transformation of these policies.
5   Being able to understand urban problems and find out solutions according to urban historical phases.
6   Being able to define urban transformation politics during the historical process.
