Course Objective

It is aimed to analysis and understand the multi-faceted problems emerging in the field of public administration in terms of the causes and consequences of human behavior by the resolution of the administrative phenomenon which is a field of activity related with human behavior through the medium of concepts and categories of social psychology and sociology of organizations.

3   Being able to make interpretations on Turkish public administration
4   Being able to recognize the changes formed by the attitudes and behaviors within the organization and outside the organization in the administrative structure

6   Being able to make a judgment about the qualities of public administrators in Turkey

1 Drawing a basic conceptual framework. The place and importance of psychology in administration, The development of administrative psychology. The linking between administrative psychology and the theories of administration.
2 The analysis of personality and personal differences
3 Group Dynamics: Group types and group differences
4 The reports and dissatisfactions of public officials on work and working conditions - The complaints of citizens on public officials and the dissatisfactions of citizens on public administration
5 Division of labor, authority, hierarchy and bureaucracy
6 The improvement of administrative authority and junior-senior relation: The analysis of the phenomenon of psycho-violence
7 The participation in administration: Participation in administration in general and participation of public officials in administration in Turkey

11 Motivation: Classification of motivation, Theories of motivation and applied research on the subject. Administrative interventions aimed to increase motivation
