Course Objective

introduce on the basis of theory and policy of State owned companies which is one of the production units of goods and services and to teach the theory of privatization and privatization policies in the context of Turkey and the world.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to explain the functions of SOEs in the public economy. 2   Interpret explaining the functioning of the management structure of SOEs. 3   Sort out the problems of SOEs. 4   Identify and explain the reasons for privatization. 5   to crayon the privatization process in Turkey. 6   Illustrate the problems encountered in the privatization process in Turkey.
