Course Objective

The course provides an overview of definition to the Local Government concept both in Turkey and around the World in fiancial aspect and to have a look for the developments in this field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining the concept of Local Government 2   Comparing foreign Local Government with Turkey's system 3   Defining the development in the field of Local governments in Turkey 4   Defining the failures that arise in practice 5   Explaining resource allocation among administrations 6   Expressing the Local Government implementations in the world in general.
