Course Objective

The course aims to introduce the objectives and functioning of international economic co-operations that Turkey s already a member of and evaluate the role of Turkey in these institutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explaining the main activities and functioning of institutions like IMF and World Bank
2   Commenting on the role of IMF and World Bank in global economic order
3   Explaining the role of Turkey in main co-operation institutions.
4   Expressing the importance and role of international institutions that are effective in the process of globalization
5   To find out how much Turkey benefit from main co-operation institutions and in what extent Turkey has join the decision mechanism
6   Identifying and interpreting main topics of public finance by establishing the cause-effect relationship
