Course Objective

Public Choice approach, the basic assumptions, sub-study areas and all aspects of the theories developed to offer.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Sorting to explain the basic assumptions of the public choice approach.
2   Describe the scope of public choice by making distinction between positive and normative.
3   To associate the public choice approach with economics and law
4   Defining the concept of representative democracy and sorting the problems of representative democracy
5   to explain the structure of voters, politicians, bureaucrats and special interest groups in the political process from the perspective of public choice
6   to sort the reasons of imperfect information and interpreting its economic, financial and political results.
