Course Objective

The aim of course is to introduce some special issues in modern concrete technology. Nowadays, in this course, high performance concrete properties will be investigated in detail. Course program will be supported by experimental studies.

3   Making the mixture design of high performance concrete
4   Making the experimental studies to determine the mechanical properties of high performance concrete
5   Draw conclusion by using graphs and tables that was generated experimental test results

There are sufficient textbooks about concrete some of which listed below. Furthermore, presentations about course, will also be given in the web (http://kisi.deu.edu.tr/halit.yazici/). Experimental studies will be done in the laboratory and the students will prepare term project.
