Course Objective

The objective of the course is to teach the elements of thermodynamic and their uses in geochemistry of
geological formation such as mineral occurances and magma evaluation

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To get knowledge in depth of atomic structure and periodic table.
2   To learn the first law of thermodynamic
3   To learn the second law of thermodynamic
5   To comrehend the molecular and kinetic theory for solids
7   to be able to applied the stabilities of solid-gas to the ore deposits
8   To use the P-T relationship of Stabil phases
9   To applied the phases dagrams for minersal formations and magma evaluatıon
10   To comrehend the electrochemical reactions and phases
