Course Objective

Following aims will be reached as a result of this course;
a) As of the formation of world and emergence of first living organisms, the concept of evolution and their mechanisms will be taught to students.
b) To provide an understanding of changes in living organisms on the basis of evolution concepts of living and fossils records

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn the living organisms originating from ancestral species lived in the past geological periods.
2   To be able to understand the processes and mechanisms appearing of a new species.
3   To be able to comprehend not only single individuals of a new species but also changing of some individuals in population.
4   Based on the fossil and current records, to be able to realize that the species change constantly.
5   to be able to associate evolutionary processes with human evolution
