Course Objective

To show the mining engineer candidate the authorizations and responsibilities he/she will have in the work life and to outline the forensic features of his/her job, to teach how mining-related procedures like acquiring permissions, periodical reporting, inspection, assign, abandonment, bidding etc. are fulfilled by which institutions at which stages, to introduce the importance and extent of the relationship of technical and/or permanent supervision-mining engineer, to investigate the features, obligations,and rights which some permission types belonging to different raw material groups supply

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To present the justification, philosophy and historical development of mining law in our country
2   To understand the importance of law in mining activities
3   To comment on the clauses of mining law
4   To comment on the clauses of Regulations on Enforcement of Mining Activities
5   To determine the points to be considered at permission applications within the extent of mining law
