Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to give theoretical knowledge about Welding and Machining subjects and to teach using of these techniques in industry by giving examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Teaching of electric arc, plasma and that properties and effect to force of electric arc
2   Teaching of weld machine, components of welding machine, characteristics. Properties and using area according to characteristics
3   Teaching of basic principles and applications of coated electrode, MIG/MAG welding, TIG welding, Submerged welding and pressure welding.
4   Teaching of welding metallurgy
5   Teaching of fundamentals of machining and machining processes
