Course Objective

Detailed description of yarn production process (opening, cleaning, blending, parallelised, spinning, drawing, winding)
To give information about basic principle of short and long fibres spinning systems
To introduce kinematic scheme of basic spinning and spinning preparation machines
To teach preperation of yarn production plan

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To gain knowledge about basics of staple, filament and synthehtic fibre spinning production processes (combed ring, carded ring, OE rotor,worsted, woolen)
2   To gain detailed knowledge about blowroom in staple and filament yarn spinning
3   To gain knowledge about carding theory and carded machines used in staple and filament spinning
4   To learn mechanisms of drawing, twisting and winding
5   To gain ability of understand machines kinematic scheme and prepare yarn production plan
