Course Objective

Introduction to weaving loom structure and its various mechanisms, explanation of complex woven fabric structures and their manufacturing methods

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Obtaining figures on the single and double fabrics by different techniques
2   Defining the structures and properties of complex woven fabrics
3   Designing the weave, drafting, pegging and denting plans of complex woven structures
4   Explaining and classifying the mechanism of woven machine
5   Distinguishing the production techniques of complex woven fabrics
