Course Objective

The aim of this course is; to give information to the students about definition, general properties, teories and application fields of superconducting materials, to advance the general vision about the studies performed on ceramic superconductors.

2   Explain the main concepts about superconductivity
3   Explain the relationship between the theories of superconductivity
4   Compare and contrast between the superconductivity concept and thermodynamic rules
5   Define the materials which exhibit superconductivity and production methods of these materials
6   Investigate the measurement techniques of superconducting properties
7   Describe some of the applications of superconductivity
