Course Objective

This course aims to introduce different types of urban form, identification of the factors that influence urban form, explanation and use of the different methods of urban form analysis.

1   Define different types of urban form
2   Identify different factors that affect urban form
3   Explain factors that affect urban form within the context of historical process and social-economic relations
4   .Explain themethods of urban form analysis
5   Use one of the methods for urban form analysis on a case study
